I am looking forward to a throw away society that embraces throw away buildings. That is, cheaper and faster to build a new building than fix the old ones up.
What a fantasy bullshit, make a robot that can only fetch me a hammer for a start!
We're reaching the point where we NEED to start implementing a permanent UBI to counter the future unemployment spike, because unlike before, there won't be jobs for humans.
Construction jobs are low social position ones and now as men don't study and all of the high social position jobs outside the gender quota occupied by women and automation /standardization going on at a rapid pace while men attempt to find their place in so-called "trade skills" and other basic skill work, all men will rely solely on universal basic income. It is inevitable.
Does anyone know if the last robot from the video, it really exist?
And this was before the pandemic accelerated all this change to warp speed.
I’m scared.
Who would not take a robot lawn mower?
i have not problem with this job i am engineer in computer program
What bullshit It's so the corporations can increase their bottom line All it will do is create lower paying jobs the cnc router replaced the cabinet builder It used to take 5 guys to run a sawmill now it takes to
Til it all breaks down
Good luck taking the hard working people and their expertise. That will never happens.
There are many jobs this current generation are not interested in doing that there parents did. Like physical manual labour jobs. Parents wouldn't want there kids to do them either. Encouraging them into getting a degree in order to get a better well paid job. This need will drive the robots into labour jobs . Robot vacuums to robot lawn mowers… jobs we just don't want. Im waiting for my maid 9000 to clean my kitchen..You name me one kid that wants to be a brick layer….really
Yeah but can they move my science setup?
JAGA SAMPAH BENAR.
laying bricks isnt stacking them up with no mortar and who puts the metal door frames in , they are installed when the bricks are layed …
and people still wanna be going in the blue-collar industry, they need to watch these videos
Вся античная цивилизация построена роботами!!!
I would say true AI with 'common sense' is much further away than a lot of media make it out to be. Great videos
Take my money! And my job! PLEASE!
They made robots to automate jobs and next they develop robots to repair and maintain these robots, which again needs other robots for maintenance and it goes on lol
Getting married is a dangerous job too
If your job requires multi tasks , chances are programming a robot to do it will not be cost effective. But If you do the same thing all day , every day. Well then yes. Your days will most likely be numbered.
Many uneducated labours, especially those who are not willing to keep learning and studying new things, may lose jobs. Foremans, master carpenters, engineers, etc. may become technicians setting and adjusting robots to do the bulk of work and themselves doing the fine finishing and setting out stuff.
