Happy Early Holidays Everyone! Thank you all for a great year on Youtube despite the craziness we've had throughout 2022. Much love to those who've tuned in all year… More to come in 2022! Stay tuned! 🙂
Totally agree with the fitness part. It keeps you from spending on medical bills due to being unhealthy.
Need more life advice videos from you
Some would argue buying a car is a bad investment but considering all the things cars can do for you, if you take care of it, it can really pay for itself in terms of utility and fun. Some would also argue you should always buy used but I would argue buying a reliable, proven, simple new car (like a Civic or Corolla, etc) and one that you plan on driving until it dies, is also a wise choice. If I didn't have my Corolla, my income would suffer greatly. While not universal, cars are tools that can provide upward mobility on top of actual mobility. While they don't directly provide financial returns, they enable them for many people. That being said, they can be a financial drain if you aren't frugal with your choice of vehicle or simply could get away with not owning one (depending on your line of work).
My dad said it's his children. Dollar and taka well spent. I will do the same.
So cool to hear, thanks for sharing my friend! Enjoy your week off!
You just reminded me that I wanted to buy some books, like Rich Dad Poor Dad. Thank you! 🙂
awesome video Brandon; so refreshing to have people who mostly share info on $$ to also mention that there's a lot out there that is intangible and still essential to life and happiness. Your life will be forever changed with a baby, the world will look very different. One of my best investments as soon as we were able to afford it was to get life insurance (we switched from mortgage insurance to life insurance). It's not a great thing to have to think about, but I know for sure that if anything was to happen to either me or my husband, the remaining parent would not have to worry about anything financially: the mortgage would be paid off, the kid's education, and years of daily expenses. Best decision we ever made, making sure they stay safe if one of us is no longer around. The pets have always been part of my life…so that's a given, lol.
Different type of video than usual, but very interesting to watch! Thank you very. much and Happy Holidays! 😉
For those who curious delivery guys said pull mattress from this end🤣
Volunteering, the rent we pay for our time here on earth!
I find that in giving and investing time in others, I am rewarded with a do good feeling and in the satisfaction of raising others up. 🙂
Rare houseplants. Who says money doesn't grow on trees? They're natural air filters, they create an aesthetic, and you can sell the cuttings for money.
work out almost everyday, even if it's just 15 min. Change my whole life.
14:55 literally me lmao 🤣
What a great video to finish the year on! I'd have to say some other great investments would be a nice quiet electric toothbrush, a double shower head if you have the water pressure, and a good office chair to help that posture stay pain free!
Merry Christmas to you and your family; I hope you all get sweet toys from Santa. Keep offering info to folks – especially younger folks – on investing, on reading. On educating and investing in one's self. The more young people do these things, the more they will realize that our western ways – our culture, our free market system, are really, really good. They don't hear this much in our school system, in our media, or from our politicians. Way to go.
Thanks Brandon for sharing! I want to add traveling. My learnings in my travels are immense.
I'm cat, I invest in my human.
Brandon subtly showing his basketball skills 🤣
I Totally agree with the whole list. And its is 100% what I am doing currently.
Thank you so much for the list! Very good points here! Just a thing for the pets: please get insurance for them if you can, so many people forgo it but it is soo helpful when something happens, vet bills are no joke and it’s heartbreaking to see people making hard decisions for lack of funds. Also please consider your local shelter over kijiji and trusted breeders if you can afford them if you insist, as there are a lot of hereditary issues to look out for in specific breeds.
I subscribed to you in 2022. One of the best moves I made this year. Kudos Brandon to your upcoming new family and great year.
all of this so true, investing in myself positively has affected my mood and my overall being. its not all about money lol
Fortune ✌️ and profit to everyone 😎😎!! Btw your work is great 🤘… Can you tell us a little about the new Kyrrex project 🤔, it’s too interesting what kind of innovation it is😬😬?
When I bought my first kindle, it absolutely changed my life. I don’t like real books because I don’t get to choose the font size. Once I got into ebooks, I realized I actually enjoyed reading. Fitness membership, having an instructor to kick my ass and exercising in a group environment.
Best non-stock investment: My used Toyota Prius, it's gone up in value since I bought it a year ago…
Wtf! U live next door to the humbled trader??? Wow!
Ok ok: 1) a good/fast coffee machine
2) education
3) my cat
4)pet camera (for security – my apt. was broken into before and a lot of money was stolen) but also -it lets me feed my cat and drunk call her when i'm not home
5) giving (may not count as an investment – but i think it is because by giving/tipping well, helping family and friends financially and with gifts I'm helping my soul
A garden is one of my best non stock investments. Not just for the produce, but for the connection to the earth, air and sunshine.
Your best video so far 🙂
I would add to invest more time to connect in nature such as hiking, walking, camping, etc., it’s very good for your mind and body.
I am a first time pet owner and we got our blue heeler puppy 2 weeks ago and just like you, in his first 3 days I already want to return him…but now we are so in love with him and days will not be complete without playing with him…
Merry Christmas to you Brandon and Marc!
Hey Brandon, great video!! Regarding the books, I would recommend that most of us get ebooks on our phone. All public libraries (I have one from Toronto Public Library) I’ve been to let you register for a free library card where you can borrow ebooks for free. This is great because a lot of us don’t have the discipline to take our books with us so since they’re on your phone, you can read them wherever you are. Also, the books are free and so if you don’t enjoy a particular one, you can return it at no cost! It’s also environmentally friendly!
ENDY matress … best investment for a quality sleep! Merry Christmas, Brandon! Much peace and love from TORONTO Ontario 🇨🇦
my best investment: giving up a "secure" job for my "passion" job. it was scary, but I got so much back in return. thanks for this genuine video Brandon. love to see you. merry Christmas
Just gotta say , your freaking awesome Brandon , and gold advice on stocks always 🙂
I sooooo agree with you on everything you said in this video , A good King mattress , good smart TV changed my world , friend relationships , You speak my language , the best investments off the stock topic 😅 I do however need to work more on the fitness , great to do at home 😊
Excellent investments Brandon. Just thought about a good vehicle also a good investment for safe travel with family ( A good condition car, SUV or truck, no need to be a brand new vehicle ). Didn't realize this until I hit the ditch 😉
bro new mattresses and fridges do NOT mix with townhouses
even better than king size, we do 2 full size mattresses joined together. trust me.
LoL Cat
Great video!
Very inspirational, thank you 😊
You are super cute! Your eyes shone speaking about your pets. You really need now more than ever your king size bed haha
with 3 pets , wifey and a baby coming. ! Have a lovely , merry Christmas with your fiancee, future baby , pets and family … and yeah , hands down YOUR course as the best investment. Even more sucess to 2022 😀
I thought you mean investing in real estate, cryptocurrency LOL. Besides yours seven, I think investing in your relationship with your spouse, kids, maybe a comfortable vehicle not necessarily luxury but comfortable, good food or drink etc.
Slowly working my way to some those things on that list.
Mattress, health, friends and library card.
Thanks for the list – agree with all of them! The other big ones for me are to explore the area where you live and to support local businesses.
So your hiring a mover for the new place?
1. Invest in your kids…..quality time spent with them.
2. Invest in your life partner, take your time choosing one, and don't stop trying with them.
Happy holidays to everyone, thanks for the videos Brandon.
I would add a date night in there as a strong relationship is the best. Cheers!
