2. My heart goes out to the people of Great Britain and the Queen’s family, Queen Elizabeth II was one of the rarest heads of state in history.

   She never sought to abuse her power, she never sought more power then she had. In a world where power corrupts so many politicans/leaders, it’s absolutely amazing she remained true to her people.

    I love that she stayed at Balmoral. I love that she spent her last couple of months resting and enjoying her favorite place. So glad it wasn’t a sudden death. It sounds like it was peaceful and sweet.

    There will never be anyone like her. She beats out ALL other monarchs. I hope her husband was waiting with open arms. Her smile in the last photo could have been so bright because she had already seen where she was going. She was glowing. And she rallied for one more duty.
