Good video and I hope your choices work out. GO HABS ! 🙂
Great video man! Portfolio's looking good!
I did give you a thumbs up. I think like many investors including myself when we first start out we do not think or understand the value of dividends within a TFSA. This year I am looking at a possible $3,800.00 of tax-free income from dividends stocks. Next year I hope to grow that to $6,200.00. Lossing space inside of the TFSA to growth stocks will be a long term loss when I will be able to purchase growth stocks with the dividends I received. Long after I have maxed out my contribution limit I will still be purchasing new stock with my tax-free income.
Thx for the vid. Felt like my portfolio drizzled since I got some small dividends this week even though I only started investing in stocks in April. Can never go wrong with POW and AQN.
GO HABS GO 🔴⚪️🔵
I have trouble understanding you saying AQN took a dip. February 2022 it was at $22.00 per share now it is at $18.85 and it does not look like it will recover.
If you like Bank of Nova Scotia why are you not buying DFN or FFN both include Bank of Nova Scotia but pays much better dividends? I would note that I feel that using your own money to purchase growth stocks instead of using tax-free dividends is a long term loss within a TFSA.
Why did I purchase DFN – Dividend 15 Split Corp – Class A? I set out a plan to make DFN pay me from dividends, $1,200.00 per year inside my TFSA. November 10, 2022, I purchased DFN for $5.89. June 22, 2022, DFN is about $8.38 per share. I have 1029 shares and get $102.90 (tax-free income) per month from dividends. In about 6 years the dividends will have repaid me for the money I used to purchase the 1029 shares. DFN has grown in value by around $1,358.67.
