Tesla isn't the only car company planning a robotaxi business, some would agree GM's Cruise is slightly ahead of Tesla, but Tesla's master plan besides the supposedly purpose-built robotaxi vehicle, is the ability to turn any Tesla Model into a robotaxi (hence, why all Tesla's basically come with full AutoPolit, you the buyer just have to activate (paid for) it), now that put Tesla ahead of everyone, you've got to watch out for one of those Chinese car companies though, I would say this, if there are some cities in the US planning a zombie tax for a driverless (or self-driving) vehicle, how big a business can robotaxi business really be

5. I read the comments and wonder. Tesla's valuation is actually low even if based on vehicles alone because of it's rate of production acceleration and the fact that it will be building new factories constantly that are the most efficient and productive in the world. Yes others will have success and some won't, but Tesla will still be selling every car they can make in 2025 and by then will be building at least 6 or 7 million a year with very high profit margins and sinking their ridiculous profits into growing and new ventures

6. That’s not good. It means tesla has to come through on all its promises just to keep the price at current inflated levels. As an investor, it’s got nowhere to go right now.

7. What RoboTaxi business ?? .. Tesla is no where near Level 5 autonomy, and that may not even be possible for them with their low cost camera only approach.

13. Nothing in the nature lives for itself. Rivers don’t drink their own water. Trees don’t eat their own fruit. Sun doesn’t give heat for itself. Flowers don’t spread fragrances for themselves… living for others is the rule of nature. You already know the answer you seek. Trust what you know.

14. $4,600/share is a $4.6T valuation … If we added uber's REVENUE as 100% income … that'd put TESLA at a 20x PE. Did we forget how valuations work? Would love someone to reply in 2026 and tell me I'm wrong.

16. Lol wowwww. Robo taxi……. This company has done nothing but glorify extremely old ways of transportation and putting a touch screen computer in them. Electric cars were around before ices and public transport was around before people had cars. Ya taxis, such a booming business. The world has lost its mind.
