Day trading is a very mentally challenging game. I don’t care how mentally strong you are and how well you believe you control your emotions, trading will push you to your limits. Sure, you need to know how to read candlesticks and technical charts; however, you also need to be finely in tune with your emotions. There is no shame in needing to admit to yourself that you are no longer mentally capable of continuing to trade. Is it embarrassing? Perhaps. Is it valuable and required if you want to have long term success? Yes! What kind of day trading results can bring a trader to the point of needing to admit they are no longer mentally able to trade? Let me show you! Not with an “in theory” example, but rather, using some of my personal day trading stock results that I was able to capture, live, on video!

I could feel the pain. Wanting just a few more cents or a little more push and the entire trade is suddenly against you. Glad you show these real moments. It really shows the truth of trading and how joyful and painful it can be all in a matter of seconds.
Some good advice I’ve heard in regards to trading and emotions is direct your emotion on your process rather than the outcome. If you follow your strategy then that’s a winner in my book! But this market is sloppy indeed lol
I would think there was a retest of the trend line because retail traders love to enter on the break of a trend line.
The price will move in the direction that causes the most losses to the largest number of positions.

It happened exactly the same thing to me I kept missing executions of trades a total fool I get today very irritating and frustrating
I feel ya on this one. I got sucker-punched by an innocuous data drop last week. Trade once more while frustrated and stopped out way too soon and said unh-unh… no more. Best move sometimes. Clear the mechanism 🤣

Yeah I had a good Thursday and good day today trading summit but a lot of luck I looked at the rest of my portfolio and it was all down
How you dont market sell?
Very rough market to trade at the moment
this week started off great but then the last two days every trade i make seems to just be the complete opposite of what i think, should i take a few days off or is it just how this market is behaving, like wednesday it seemed like every candle was a dollar change in tesla, great setups and then completely shoots up in the opposite direction. is it possibly something i’m doing wrong or is it just this unpredictable ranging market?
this happens to me sometimes also when a winning trades goes into loss or breakeven, its called being greedy and thinking you can predict the market, it can change in a split second with no reason whatsoever
