10. Even if you have completely free electricity, why would anyone mine this for literally CENTS/DAY?? Not worth the time and hardware investment. Using old hardware u might have laying around might make sense, but only if u don’t pay electrical bills. Not worth the trouble.

16. I have ethash running on my GPU Gaming Computer mining Ether.

    Is it smart to sent my CPU also to mine XMR ?

    Could they mine together ?

I have a small farm, just a dozen or so cpu's mining monero, but I use solar for part of the power, it clicks over in the day and clicks back to grid at night, the inverter is automatic to the bank voltage, so when the voltage goes up in the morning it turns on, and that activates a 125V coil on a DPDT relay, which switches the power over from the grid to the inverter. At night when the voltage drops, the inverter kicks off and the DPDT relay switches the power back to the grid. I added a bit of capacitance to the +5V and +12V computer power supply outputs to ensure they carry through the switching without freezing up or glitching. Without the solar, with the older I7's and I5's it would be totally not worth it because the electricity would be worth more than the mined coins, but with about half of the time being on solar, where I can't really sell the power back to the grid for a reasonable price, it is a higher and better use of the excess power.

19. Having 2 ram dimms populated is faster than 4. Most consumer cpus have a maximum of dual channel so your 4 sticks are sharing 2 channels.

21. are there not supposed to be "" before and after your percentage setting? thats why its not working? check the other settings, all that are not null have airquotes.

27. Hi vosk….Great video….I am starting a CPU farm. I currently have a Ryzen 2600 CPU which is currently mining 2500 mh at the moment. I had a Production Company which I have 10 workstations which have the Ryzen 2600s. Covid got ahold of me and I had to shut down my production company and lay off my employees. I was going to sell those 10 workstations. I am so glad that I watched your video. I would like to be an experiment in reference to building a 10 CPU computer mining farm.

28. It is really complicated to create a simple GUI to enter all the setting to start mining, instead of dealing with code? Simple VB code can do it easily… why they (mining program developers) don't do it? It is a way to keep mortal people away from mining? 🤔
