How much do you typically spend in a month?! Let us know! 👀
Great vid! Not sure if you've covered it before but how do you guys decide who will spend on what? I know you split most things 50/50 but noticed some charges were spent by just one of you (Steph paid for pizza and taco date night, and Den covered Pai). Is that just random or is there reasoning behind it?
Hey Den, so wait you get optometry coverage from your work?
also, got any links for good optometrists in the city?
Do you think you can tour apartments in or close to Toronto that aren’t necessarily high rise, big windows buildings. Updated but more homey vibe
Nice video. I'm from Toronto as well 🙂 Per month I'm spending about 2k on rent, food, outings, etc. At the moment, I'm also heavily investing most of my monthly income. About 2-3k per month into my TFSA which will be maxxed out by EOY. From there I don't know if I'll just open a margin account or just do RRSP.
You guys should do a video on the emotional aspects of investing. As someone who just started over a year ago, I still constantly check my portfolio. Or even look at my performance % and feel bad when I see ppl on Reddit making more.
It's interesting you don't have a car. What do you do when you need a vehicle?
So good to see fellow Canadians in the finance space! Hi 👋 from Vancouver 😀
Thanks for the video. OMG to your combined rent. Out of curiosity, does that include maintenance and mortgage?
nice love the budget videos. i need to watch your older videos to see how much youre making from your online youtube business
I basically spend about 65% of my income… save about 25% and invest 10%….
Wow, you don't spend much eating out, I'm impressed! I was expecting transport to come up but it didn't. Even if most things are within walking distance downtown Toronto and you WFH, I would expect the occasional transport expense such as transit, uber, etc…
I live with my parents but I do pay a few bills and that's 140 for hydro and 50 for my phone under the family plan and internet it 45 with virgin mobile. I spend around 400 on food and toiletries and entertainment and save like 500 and invest 1000. This is qurantine budget though once I'm back to commuting it'll go up. But I am looking for a new job so I can keep my expenses low.
Another Stellar Video My Friends! Love it! Wishing you both a truly awesome Day full of Love and Light! <3
Steph, where do you get a massage? We live in the same area and I'm looking for a new place to get one 🙂 Also love your videos!!
Hey guys I want to thank you for your content… you've inspired me to buckle down and save and to invest an inheritance that I just received. I still spend to much per month but at least now I pay my self first. Thanks alot guys i appreciate you and love what you do. 🤩🤩
You guys should try Score on King
Yas! Would love any tips on which business bank account to choose in Canada.
That sushi looked good! Which place do you go to? 👀
Pizza pizza 🤮🤮🤮. Great vid.
Favorite pizza is pizza pizza? Heresy!
Great video! Wondering what the microphones you are using is?
Can you please make a video explaining how HST works with Canada youtubers. I added my HST number on google adsense but unsure how the process works going forward
Omg wow, you guys are incredible with your spending! I’m 24 and I only wish I was as frugal and diligent as you guys are. I’m trying but it’s sooo hard to stick to my budget. Eating out is for sure my weakness but y’all show that you can eat out but still be frugal and stick to a budget. Y’all seem to not have lots of expenses or subscriptions. Do you not do much clothes shopping or general online/Amazon shopping? Didn’t see any of that?
Side note: Y’all are the cutest! The adorable little looks and smiles you give eachother. Goalssss 😭💕
Where is the place in Toronto you go for your massage?
I want Graham Stephan to react to this! He probably wouldn’t have much to say (except oneee thing: ⭐️💵) cause you guys are doing so great for yourselves. Congrats guys!! ☺️
Great video! PS. Virgin Mobile has an amazing internet service 45 / month and works perfectly!
Wow. You must earn a lot!
51 and wish I had this discipline in my 20s, great job 👏
What's the exact meaning of work benifites?
Means dental and eye expenses covered by company or employer?
Are your benefits covered 100% through work plan? That’s amazing! Also do you typically not do any shopping?
Most interesting vid i saw on YouTube today ngl !!!
I'm a new sub to the channel and loving the content so far💥
Absolute banger guys💣💯
I cannot wait to go back to PAI Toronto <3, I love their Khao Soi noodles!
Steph looking even more pretty with hairdown style.
Why do you have separate Netflix accounts??
I use to pay $85/MTH with Freedom Mobile. Then switched to Fido for $44/month for 9 GB. More than I need. Also of you call Rogers, you can get better rates. I get internet 500gb home phone and TV for $92/month. Also, thank you Den and Steph. I used your resume template and got a new job! Cheers.
What’s happening with the couch?!?!
Where was the breakfast spot? Looks delicious!
Great video! I was wondering instead of paying for the Standard Netflix separately, why not get and share the Premium subscription which is $18.99? It lets you have 4 users watch at the same time so you can still share it with your families. You can also set up to 5 different profiles on the account so everyone can still have their personalized experience
Can you please make a video about how to deal with having to support a family member (not a child in my case while going through your early 20s,not having a high paying job, and trying to achieve financial independence at the same time? Even if you can't relate, I would really appreciate you guys giving your advice/opinion on this! (I have started budgeting in excel since May, and realized that even though I am saver, I spend a lot in "family support")
Nice video, once again. Keep up the good work!
Love from Mama Africa ❤️
Nice video! It inspires me to look at my own expenses, though my SO and I don't split our shared expenses down the middle, ours is more of a general divide.
Pai is one of my favourite restaurants in the city.
I’m 23 and I don’t pay rent due to living with my parents, and my monthly expenses are usually around 1000$… I gotta budget better! But I do help out at home so I’m not a complete mess LOL
The look on Den’s face every time Steph mentions Starbucks 🤣🤣🤣🙌🏾
