Bluetooth may be a standard but there are times when the service that’s running on Android becomes an issue. The Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra can be used with thousands of different devices but what if a device stops connecting?
#GalaxyS20 #GalaxyS20Ultra
These devices are all handled by a system application Bluetooth. This application stores the data from your paired Bluetooth devices and uses this when you want to reconnect them as well.
Sometimes this data can become corrupt or inaccessible so we need to reset it. We’re able to do this without performing a factory reset by deleting the app cache and the app data of the Bluetooth service.

My S20 Ultra doesn't have a "See System Apps" option
why I can't connect headphone after the headphone update in my samsung note 20 ultra 5g
Mine says i need need an app to Connect 🙂 plss help
When I try pairing my device with my car, it tells me I need an app to use this device… But doesn't specify what app
Cut the whole first minute of blabbing your damn head off
Phones in this decade should not be having these issues period. Especially when they removed the aux port. It's pretty unbelievable considering how much these phones cost now
These phones are getting freakin ridiculous. I am just trying to go to the gym with my wireless headphones. It used to be easy to connect/forget bluetooth. Fuck these people. This close to saying fuck these overpriced phones, getting a flip phone, or just not using one. Just like 5g; this isn't a fuckin improvement for your average person. My phone is slower than it was qith 4g. Get rid of your smart phones people…
This is not working for me please say another option since other videos aren't helping please give another comment
Will this fix the issue where my phone is connected to my vehicle but the phone is always behind. As far as you can tell whem someones singing that the music does not match their mouth movement?
So, somehow I can't find system apps like he described
This one didn't work for me. I have the s20 galaxy and it's updated on the system and I couldn't find the systems part
When ever I turn on my beats flex they don't show up on the Bluetooth connecting what do.i do
Thank you.
My Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus does not display Bluetooth in the apps even tho I have bluetooth.
Thank you. I had problem with my s20 fe with one ui 3.1. My wireless buds volume suddenly decreased. After seeing this video I tried doing it but not able find system apps. So I opened connections, Bluetooth then long pressed on my ear buds name and unpaired it then paired it again. Now volume of buds coming full. Anyone with s20 fe can try this.
Worked!
There is no blue tooth app on my note ultra 20?
If I could give this video 100 down votes I would.
These setting dont exist anymorr
I tried this but it didn't work. My phone says it is connected. It plays music thru my speakers and my car like my old phone but when i call someone it doesn't go through to my car and speakers the call is still on my phone. I have done everything you said still didn't work. I just got my S20 FE 5G phone a few days ago. I have reset the network i have cleared the bluetooth devices in my car and phone. What else is there to do? I
S21 Plus doesn't have that option 🙁
I was having huge dramas Bluetooth connecting my Sony headphones to my new Note 20 Ultra. They connected to my old Note 5 no worries, but the Ultra wasn't recognising the headphones. Turns out it was a fairly simple fix and nothing to do with this video. Basically I just held down the power button on the headphones for 7 seconds. Usually I would press it for 1-2 seconds to turn them on but this didn't enable them to appear as a Bluetooth audio device. Holding the power button down for 7 seconds though seemed to reset and the blue and red lights starting flashing really quickly and voila. The headphones appeared as an audio device. Worked same on my laptop as well after trying to connect via Bluetooth for ages.
If anyone needed a way to fix it still i went to settings account/backup then hit reset then from there i hit reset network which resets Bluetooth and web network and after that worked great.
Thank You 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Doesn't works with my galaxy s20 plus
nop didnt work. fak android 11
Legend! I tried numerous other things and this is the only thing that has worked. Thank you very much for saving me more hours.
my phone does not have show system app either
my Samsung galaxy use to connect fine through Bluetooth to my desk top, now suddenly the desktop connects but Samsung phone just keeps saying couldn't connect, have tried every thing including this fix nothing works, any ideas, really need some help.
Whenever I connect to my Bluetooth headset ( Card 20 tws) the other person on the other side of the call always complains about voice echo… Why is this happening?
Thanks for this it worked👏. Since I purchased my S20+ four months ago I haven't been able to see my phone contacts in my car settings. I even called Samsung and they couldn't even explain this.
Please help! I don't know whay else to do. When I tap on the 3 dots – I do not have the option: show system
And when I look under apps. There is no bluetooth listed.
I don't know what to do
Hi nice video but my problem is that when i play music its stuttering and freezing. I have the samsung a51 too its sometimes kind of laggy and the music goes faster i dont know whats wrong can someone help me? But when i take the Cover off its works perfectly
I don't think this is going to resolve my problem, I know how to re-pair my bluetooth.
I just want my phone to reconnect automatically with asking me to pair with a device that I'm already paired with.
The device in question is a bluetooth/FM car transmitter that turnes itself off every time I stop the engine, if I could stop it turning off that would fix my issue but I'm pretty sure that's not possible.
What ought to be possible is that my phone should automatically paur itsell to an available device without asking for my pwermission every time.
Can this be done?
I love you 😂🥰
Got a s21 and all my games have some latency through bluetooth audio. Tried all kinds of tips but nada.
worked for me and the samsung S20 FE connection to the Marshall speaker – thank you so much!!!
Mine doesn't even have the bluetooth in the apps section and i can not find anywhere in the settings the clear data or cache option!
Dose it work for a71?
can you help me on my A20s when blurtooth is on I dont see the logo on my screen is this normal
my problem is that when I clicked on unpair thing by accident my bluetooth stopped working
I dont know how to fix it please help me
I had the problem but did not go so far as to reset the whole phone. Went to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Settings. It worked and I lost nothing. For how long who knows! Hoping until the next update.
Update Edit- it stopped working again. seems to be hit or miss. If i'm looking at my settings for the device it'll eventually flip on audio, but if i'm not looking at it, it just wont turn on audio. i have an S20,
(first post) My bluetooth device used to default to auto connect to media. Turnon my device, it connects, i'm good to go and can immediately start listening to my audible books. Now it only defaults to calls and i have to track down my phone, unlock the screen, go into settings, go into bluetooth, go into bluetooth settings and manually turn on media audio.. super annoying. Trying to find help online is super annoying because nothing matches up exactly with my issue. Under settings, apps, that menu drop down doesnt have "show system apps" My options are Permission Manager, special access, and reset app preferences . I found the "show system apps" it was in another location. I cleared cache, i cleared data, i restarted phone, i repaired my headphones and this seems to have fixed the issue. The connection is slow but it does connect to media audio as well as calls. Thanks for the help.
Thank you worked perfect on s20ef g5 phone
Did all those things still refuse to turn on.
How come i only have 3 options in that top right corner
I followed your steps exactly on my s20 ultra and absolutely nothing changed, it didn't even clear the devices even after I restarted my phone
