2. Great review. I bought the V15 detect about 3 weeks ago and wow, it is absolutely amazing! I had never had a dyson or even a cordless vacuum before, man was I missing out. Yes it is very expensive ($750 including tax), but I do think it is worth that cost. The green laser feature will literally make you look forward to vacuuming haha, especially in low light or at night time when the green laser is more visible. Of course the green laser only shows dust and dirt on hardwood/tile, so if your home is mostly carpet then this feature won’t matter as much to you. I’d go so far as to say that the V15 detect may be the single best investment you can make as far as home cleaning tools goes. I can’t stop vacuuming my house ever since I got it lol. The green laser exposes so much debris on your floors that you never ever would be able to see with the naked eye, it’s crazy to see how much stuff accumulates on your floor in just a matter of hours after the last vacuum. I hope this vacuum proves to be long lasting, time will tell!

3. I really don’t like the anti tangle implementation.

   Long hair gets into the dust chamber, mixes with the dust and wraps around the inner cylinder. This results in a horrible bucket emptying experience because no longer does everything fall out relatively cleanly in one clump – but it all kind of attaches to itself and to the inner cylinder due to the mixing of the long hair with the dust and needs to be physically pulled out. Dust ends up flying everywhere which is just ironic given that a vacuum is supposed to get rid of dust, and you end up with a dusty hand every time you need to empty.

   I think that anti tangle is a great feature in general but because of that small chamber on this vacuum and the inner cylinder the feature just doesn’t work well.

   I would recommend this vacuum but with a non-anti-tangle brush – at least until Dyson fixes this issue.

4. A next-generation vaccum should have motorised wheels because suction can cause it to slow down as you push the handle, not good for those who have joint hand disorder

7. Dyson's are awesome… however if it doesn't have a replaceable battery it's garbage. We bought the V10, worst decision ever. That battery is cooked in like 15 minutes on boost and you're dead in the water for a very long charge time. Our old Tineco although not as powerful, was way better. Swap batteries as needed and run as long as you want.

9. I really love this vacuüm cleaner BUT because there is just 1 protected fluffy pad underneath it is scratchin my floor badly. The part where the laser is, is no fluffy pad placed. Also the vacuüm cleanser is getting scratched at that side on the front. I really hope Dyson will fix this soon, looks like a faulthy design.

12. Dyson: If you are elderly, dismantling for cleaning is a nightmare . Brittle plastic easily breaks. Had two versions years ago , won’t be buying any more .
    Stick to a Henry vac, you know where you are with one of these: easy to cart about, easy to deal with/ filter/ etc, and well made of strong plastic.

17. My v6 saw an early grave because of a glitch. bought a v8 now that wont work on high only on low. electronics is their problem, just not a dependable vacuum. The v15 uses more electronics and most likely more problems.

18. The V12 looks and has similar features to the v15. Are they the same?

21. This is amazing!! I’m going back and forth between dyson and shark cordless. I have a toddler and I have extremely long wavy hair so I hate getting it tangled in the brush. Hours cutting it off my Hoover floor vacuum and I’m just exhausted 😂
    Need something to keep up!

23. With the bad experiences I have my Dyson, sorry to say this video doesn't include any info I'm interested in. Namely, how messy it is to empty, and if the battery is reliable.

    My Dyson works for about 10 seconds regardless of how long it's been charging, and I have to pick the dirt out of the chamber. While doing that I curse the man who was granted a knighthood for designing this garbage

24. with V15, Do we have to hold down the trigger whilst doing the vacumming ? or hit the button and the vacuming will work by itself ?
