Redoing all the steps in my TV I get 0.06 % daily. No idea why…
Great video, thanks. I never played around with the timeout parameter before. It gave me another approach to lower SO count and use a little bit more funds. On backtesting, I've achieved 7.8% daily, 20x leverage shorting another pair. Time to explore more.
How would this bot not be liquidated with 25x and a max drop of 33% and 28%?
Very motivating to see and hear your explanations! I gave up DCA bots during the last months, but slowly returning to it and following you now as I remember seeing a video from you where you optimalizing a DCA bot which eversince has been in the back of my mind.
Nice work there as always , but none of those two bots get liquidated in whole backtesting period ?

trading view strategy tester doesnt calculate maxdrawdown correctly.
If last SO is placed and price goes lower, then drawdown is much more as bot is using full volume than shown in TV .TV assumes them as individual trades not DCA hence drawdown shown is at last SO.
Can get away with Spot but in futures this is a big liquidation risk
drawdown for long = (lowest price x total coin quantity) – (avg price of deal x total coin quantity)
drawdown for short = (avg price of deal x total coin quantity) – (highest price x total coin quantity)
where lowest price from last SO to deal close needs to be considered
and highest price from last SO to deal close needs to be considered

Right now, I short Trx, ICP, Waves, CVX, Lever, ETC, UNi, Auction, AMB, PHB, at 12 X leverage, on Futures of binance, TP 1.3%, safety order double of base order, 1.5 volume and 1.8 scale. I make about 1% per day. I only put 2 security orders at 5%. I didn't backtest. Some days are more quiet like this weekend.
