45. I've watched it three times in my life. Still unclear. One new transaction can't be verified and trusted, correct? One new transaction is broadcast, and you hope it ends up in the next block. If your transaction was broadcast, and ended up NOT being added to the most recent block (i.e. near simultaneous), do the miners immediately grab that new block, stop the computing on the old hash, put the new hash in, and start recomputing? Do they insert your transaction in the current block?

    I get most of the cryptography stuff re: signing and keys, but I'm still unsure how this guarantees no lost ledger entries, and what it means for a miner who is trying to compute, but someone else publishes the newest block. If someone shouldn't trust the latest block until there are more blocks added, and they are sure its the longest chain, who is spending all that time making the new blocks based on blocks they shouldn't yet trust?
