You have to adjust your margin. Your stop loss has to be set ABOVE your liquidation price in a long position or you can lose it all. On the other hand, if you are short selling, your stop loss must be bellow your liquidation price or you will get terminated.

Formula to avoid liquidation:
Liquidation = (100/leverage ) – 0.5.
Ie your leverage is 20x so the margin you should have is = 100/20 -0.5 = 4.5%.
This means if the asset drops 4.5% off the entry you are going to get liquidated.
