7. Fantastic video. Very new to trading from across the pond. Watched 20-30 videos, and none have been as simple and explained so well as this one. I tried signals to start with but was getting so many bags ( didn't have triggers enabled, ( didn't actually know what they did )). Have watched loads of peoples " advised" settings, and had a majority of bad trades. I tried, MACD, I tried bolinger, I tried RSI……all in TA Strategy, ( and realise now, after what you have said, it can be a minefield trying to track and set it all the time ), but it was a complete waste of time. Now I have gone back to signals, using and tweaking your settings, and using your triggers, and lo and behold 8 out 12 green in the last 12 hours. Thanks for inputting this information, its been a great help and informative. I now know my way quite well on cryptohopper, and it seems simplest is best. Looking forward to trading now. 11. this is very weird, i followed your corrected advice and set greater than -1.8 for disabling buying. It got immediately activated, this used to happen a lot which is why i stopped using triggers.
    Can you please double check, for this case it should be less than or equal…

Ok guys i just noticed this and im not sure if im 100 accurate but on the disable during downtrend trigger, shouldnt that should be set to less then or equal to in order to accurately turn the bot off during downtrends? A "greater then" value implies growth or positive change, while "less then" implies drops or loss of a value. I spotted this video during a downtrend today as i was looking to set up a disable/enable buy trigger. The bot then auto disabled my buying when btc was at a 1% drop and i had it set to "greater then or equal to 2". 17. I bought the book for one main reason: I wanted to know more about how the Advanced TA Settings works and how they influence each other, good or bad ways. (I have yet to get EMA periods to work with Cryptohopper they way I want them to). Unfortunately not much of that in your strategy.

21. Hey, great content. Something I think you have it wrong. On the Enable trigger, shouldn't the trigger be, when greater or equal to 1.8% instead? If you set it to lower, it will enable if for example the difference is just +.5% (as is lower that want you have)

22. I hope this isn't a stupid question. If I originally deposited $500.00 in Bitcoin to set the hopper what happens if I deposit more? Does the hoper automatically use all of the deposited Bitcoin or do I have to click on something? Thank you.

25. I think you should write when you want to allow to buy that it is not less then or equal but greater than or equal because in a up trend it goes up. So it shouldnt work when it is less than 1.8%. Correct me if I am wrong.

31. super helpful, thanks so much! regarding the "enable buy" rule at the end, my thoughts were that we could set the buy trigger to start when the percentage change between BTC/USDT is "great than or equal to" 0 or 0.1 — meaning as soon as the positive trend starts, we're good to start trading on the buy signals again.

34. Hi, your videos on cryptohopper are helpful, please continue to share your configs, and update us as often as you can, we know that copying yours doesn't guarantee success but its always helpful info so please don't stop sharing your configs. I really appreciate it.

35. I have a better way to set your triggers up. Use the macd to enable and disable buying. The macd is a much more accurate way to predicting a new trend rather than small percentage changes.
    Also use fast 12 slow 29 close 9. Using slow 29 will help pick the trends up slightly earlier than the default settings

36. very good description …… On bittrex there is usdt-btc pair ….. comparing btcusd and usdtbtc they are moving almost the same…its a good idea to try intead of tusd …. I'm on now experimenting …. the signals are given perfectly and the triggers are following nice ….. I think using now these 2 triggers allowing all altcoins and using more signalers is a good idea … see you falks
