10. A bit of a strawman argument here because no one of significance said women would not use Internet. In fact, early on, a woman, Esther Dyson was among pioneers of the Internet popularization. And with proliferation of online porn women had much better monetization options for their natural gifts So, even the worst sexists could not deny that. However, it's the esteemed Nobel Prize winner and Obama's favorite economist Paul Krugman, who said internet was fad and would fade into irrelevancy.
    Just because Internet took off does not lead to analogy with NFTs. I could easily explain the benefit of email and internet to my grandma. Now, even executives are struggling to see value in NFTs. But lots of scammers and shysters are drawn to it. And now, in Congress hearings they are lamenting that a lot of people from minority communities have already been scammed and lost money on cryptos, ICOs, yield farming and nft scams and no one yet came forward with a story of benefitting from it (except for scammers, of course).

11. Does this peanut want us to make an endless list of things, processes and schemes and products that people believed ‘would take over the world’ and yet have disappeared from use and approval. This Internet link to nfts & crypto is the lame excuse of Crypto snake-oil evangelists.

15. Okay, so CC, I'm gonna need a course on NFT's….. what use will they serve us….. having a photo of art, or a car you like, or something like Bored Ape…… how are they going to be usable and serve a purpose??

16. I think the problem is that NFT's right now are being used to just sell GIF's which obviously doesn't make a lot of sense… it's because the real uses of NFT's aren't widespread yet. I think when NFT's can start to be more widely used for other things, like shares in a business that pay dividends, then people will really see the power of NFTs.

17. Sorry, I agree with all you have said so far in all your posts, but I greatly disagree on NFTs and also on Web3. I think it's a silly fad. On Web3, governments wont allow anonymous internet.

23. Most NFTs that exist now are useless, this is true. But in a few years time, everybody will use NFTs

24. I wish I could find the free hours to just research and try and absorb all this. I did things the "right" way but that doesn't work anymore. It is not about working and saving and then retiring happily. The US just doesn't, and won't, work that way anymore. So midlife I know have to try and understand/learn all these changes and do something to try and secure quality of life for myself and family. Worse, in my circle of friends and associates are no one who sees the opportunities that are presenting themselves so I have no one to lean on abit, no comraderie. It really sucks getting older 🙁

25. One important factor you are forgetting is not everything survived…. and not in the form it was initially created. Thousands of companies and billions was lost on useless technology that didn't have a purpose.
