Well I just had a nightmare of an experience with the LV store in Costa Mesa CA. Wish i had seen this video prior to prove this ahole of an SA wrong. I was contacted by this LV store saying they had the neo noe in black that I've been waiting for months. I purchased it immediately thru a pay link. Purchased it 10/14, received 10/15, and within the hour of receiving it and trying it on in my home I decided i didn't like it and contacted the SA. He was completely understanding & said he would send me a shipping label. I even suggested to him that i could return it to my local LV store and he said they would rather have it back and in their inventory. What was also peculiar is that he said he noticed I purchased this same bag in 2017 (which I did) but I explained that one was a gift for my niece who was leaving to study abroad. He reminded me that just to make sure not to return my "old bag" from 2017 bcuZ people had been doing that. I said first of all this new bag has a white tag attached and the old one I bought never did. No SA has ever made such a weird request. Anyway I returned the bag the very next day which was saturday 10/16. Later this week I reached out to him yesterday afternoon 10/21 saying I noticed they received the bag Tuesday 10/20 and when would I get my refund. He said he was out on a emergency medical leave and just got back to work but that he would process it right away. This afternoon the UPS guy is at my door with a big box very similar to the one i received from the LV store in Costa Mesa,and the UPS guy said I was told to physically hand it to you. Well I opened it and it was the same bag I had returned! I text the SA thinking it was a mistake and I need to return this ASAP and he says to me "well 3 of the managers here said that the bag was used and so we cannot accept this bag." I was beyond floored! I tried calling him but he wouldnt pick up. He just kept sending me texts back stating I cannot refund this. It is out of my hands. Please take it to your local LV store and return it there. WTH?! He claimed the managers said it had a small white stain in the interior, scratches on the gold hardware and scratches in the interior. I was mortified to be accused of something I didn't do. So I said well maybe it was you guys who sold me a faulty bag. I told him to look at the history of the bag and see if it had been returned prior or maybe it had been tried on at the store. To which he claimed "it was a new bag." I wanted to cry. Because I was being accused of something I didn't do. Anyway I went to my local LV store and they were super kind but couldn't figure out how to refund bcuZ the new manager didn't know how to process it. I had to text the other SA in Costa Mesa and he kept replying with the same robotic message "I cannot help you with your refund please take it to your local LV store. It is out of my hands." To which I kept saying "I am at my local LV store like you asked me to do and I'm asking you to send me a refund link that they're asking for. He didn't know what they were talking about. Then he said I'm not even at work as I got off at 430. I said you guys are a scam and I thought you were a nice person. I walked back into my local LV store and was prepared to ask them if this bag was even real or had I just been scammed but then they actually figured out to refund me my money. So moral of the story: if you purchase online, please record the process and videotape the entire bag because if you return it and they deem it used, you have no say in the matter. You are guilty guilty guilty. You can't even call a corporate office to help you. I felt like I was hung out to dry. Did I use the bag? Absolutely 100% NO! These people are cons. I'm never buying LV again. I'll stick to tory burch whose designs are super cute or even MCM use real leather and not canvas. Sorry for the long post. Just trying to warn people. Also do not purchase from Costa Mesa California! Side note: I did notice that the newer neo noe bag is more poor quality from the one I purchased in 2017. The new ones are thinner canvas whereas the older model was a more solid feel. Not worth 2000.00 for a thin canvas material.

I remember back in 2013, I went into the Jacksonville louis Vuitton store at the town center. I was approached by a nice gentleman who offered me champagne. I said no thank you I'm driving " He just lol and said well let me know if you need any help with anything I said thank you I just would like to look around for now and wait for My SA , They let me walk in the back to look at the handbags, They treated me like gold and was very nice to me . while I was just walking around and looking four woman walked in and he didn't offer them any champagne , Before my SA could help me they started talking to her and then I had to wait for my SA to finish helping four overly anxious and excited woman asking to look at a lot of different handbags . They ran the poor sale associate ragged pulling out different handbags to look at. She would look over at me and mouth ill be with you in a minute . Then they all turned around and started walking to the doors and one of them said will when ever we can afford one of your overly priced bags we will be back. I know one thing they kept a close eye on all four of the woman. Well after my SA was done she walked over and said sorry for the wait , I told her wow you must get all kinds in here . She said you have no idea and started lol.. She did tell me most of us can tell who is serious about purchasing something.

Iâve been keeping an eye on the ALMA PM Damier Ebene Canvas and since the price increase it makes me want to cry LOL! But Iâm worried now from watching this video, if I go in the store to purchase this bag what do I expect? Because I will now hold this video and these expectations in the back of my mind.

I had the full lining of my Tassil Yellow Sac Triangle replaced and was charged ÂŁ234 for it, which I thought was really good considering the amount of materials and lining; then I had the zip replaced on my Trousse 28 and was charged ÂŁ124 for it, which I thought was really expensive! My most recent repair (zip fabric came away on my 2 year old round coin purse) was supposed to be ÂŁ124 also, but my CA waived the fee. I don't buy much, but he's still good to me đ
Saying the pochette accessories isnât a bag is a reach. Sure the name means accessories pouch, but LV is literally advertising it as a bag in the model photos of the product on the website
I donât know if you already have a video on this, but my store in Brazil already exchanged 2 items for me that started to have the glazing defect. One was the Porte-Documents Jour Epi leather, used for 2 years. The glazing started to melt. And the other one was a BEAUTIFUL Neverfull MM Epi Coquelicot Red, my mom used for 3 years, the glazing also started to melt. So, with the Porte-Documents credit, I paid the difference for a Horizon 55 and my mom actually wanted the same bag, but they didnât have it anymore and couldnât repair on both cases, so she got a Twist MM with the credit. I donât know if that usually happens, but they always treated me like e VIC I guess, not sure but I even receive gifts on my birthday, like ânot for saleâ cardholders đ€Ł
Hmm I might have to disagree with you on the repair/authentication thing! It doesnât always work! I recently (1 month ago) bought a vintage Keepall 55 Bandouliere from Japan. Itâs from 1988. The bag is in a very good condition so I took it to the 5th Avenue store here in NY because I wanted to get it stamped and maybe speculate about its authenticity. I already knew it was authentic but I took it in just in case. So I got to the store and said I needed repair. The SA took me to the repair desk on the upper floor and a senior Asian woman asked what she could help me with. I told her I had found the bag in my grandmaâs deposit (lmao) so she wouldnât treat me like dirt. So I guiltlessly asked if the bag needed any kind of repair on the leather parts. (I actually wanted to know if the canvas was in good condition in case if I wanted to replace the vachetta on the future, and if they would do it even the bag beign that old.) So she told me the vachetta was fine and started looking at some specific parts that donât match the actual Keepalls being made today. Itâs like I knew what would be the next thing sheâd look at đ€Ł So she looked at the zipper pull, the cadena, the datecode inside and then said: âHmm.. đ€ but I am just not really sure if we could do any repairs on this bag, you know, Iâm not really sure if it was made by LV.â
– I acted surprised like: âOhhh no! Really? đ°â but was actually thinking đ (B***h, you work at the 5th Ave store and canât even recognize a vintage LV?â I knew that bag was auth. I have 2 other ones.
So she said: âLetâs get a new one so we can compare!â
So she grabbed one and started comparing but then said the bag was ok! â
She then told me she got a little bit skeptical about the zipper and hardware. Well the zipper pull on this is different from the new ones!! But she should know that right!! The hardware is the same on both, so (-1 pt) for her. After all that, I could peacefully leave the tag to get my initials on it and picked up on the next day. What I mean is:
– she told me she works there for 17 years – now.
– sheâs a senior there. Head of the repair section. How can she not recognize a vintage monogram Keepall? I mean, itâs one of their best sellers.
– she works at the 5th Ave store in NYC!! One of the most important stores in the world. She should know EVERY SINGLE ITEM and itâs versions!!

I am a little concerned about how they shipped my LV Neverfull GM today. The outer brown packaging bag was a bit shabby and not an LV shipping box at all. Although I was thinking maybe itâs because they sent me a magazine as well? Should I be worried or should I just let it go? I mean, the bag is perfect. But seeing how badly packed it is, is really disappointing. It wasnât even so secured at all like somebody can easily open the box without making it look like it has been opened. I just thought I paid a quite a lot of money for that and coming from LV itâs pretty shabby. Lol

I believe everything youâre saying. I gotten a few repairs done for free just for being a loyal client. I have also experienced bad quality in the fine jewelry items. Now I only collect a few pieces due to the quality control. I had to return 2 items in the past year. I think a good video would be talking about the quality of the products.
I had my entire '83 45 keepall zipper replaced, they were unsure if they could replace it because the stitching holes had to be in perfect condition or they wouldnt be able to. A couple weeks later I got back my bag fully restored new zipper excellent craftsmanship. $50+tax. The original zipper had a lock attached to it (no key) so they gave me the old zipper pull & lock back, I was debating buying another one (I think it was $50-70) but decided not to. A couple days later I went to a thrift store and found a genuine lock on a fake LV bag WITH the key! I bought the bag, took the lock and gave them the back bag for $4.99! This bag was also purchased at a thrift store and someone had returned it because they said it was a fake, they didnt recognize the old date marks and mistook them for fake. Definitely a win win win with this bag! Also agree with you on the aged vachetta, especially almost 40 year old vachetta! Beautiful smooth tanned shiny gloss chocolate!

I bought an agenda and didn't notice that the ring binder was broken until I had to use it, which is days later since I had to wait for my inserts. I returned it to the store, and the way they treated us was very condescending. It was disappointing, especially when I always pick up my online orders at that store. I had to order twice, and both times the rings were defective, and they acted like we were some scammers. When reality is the quality is just horrible and I won't settle for that.
I bought a PM from LV website and when it arrived, the metal bits at the sides where the straps are hooked were already scratched up. Too bad i didn't inspect properly and already peeled off the protective stickers from the front clasp đ

When I got the Melie in Empreiente Noir it was definitely a return. The date code showed it was already 6 months old and the hardware had more scratches that you'd expect from a store display. I was doing an exchange for a defective bag that was no longer in production and the Melie was what I wanted so I wasn't concerned about it considering the situation I felt grateful for the exchange.. The key pouch I ordered was made in march and sent to me in Sept so I figure that was prob purchased and returned, maybe multiple times bc of all the key pouch microscopic inspection videos going around LOL. The last bag I bought was graceful in august and she scanned the chip for me and it was literally produced a few days prior so I was happy about that. I think some CAs are being told not to scan chips, ppl will not know the date code and have no idea just how old their bag is. The older the bag in my opinion the more likely it was purchased, held for 30 days, then returned, taking even more time if it has to be mailed back in, etc.
