Micro-marring with foam pads
Foam cutting pads have a SHARPNESS to them.  This can lead to micro-marring on soft paint.

Production Detailing using an AIO or one-step cleaner/wax
When detailing for money – you should have multiple packages so you have a package or process for every customer and their BUDGET and NEEDS.  Not everyone is looking for a multiple-step Show Car Detail for their 2014 Honda 4-Door Accord.

When it comes to you One-Step Package, it STARTS with NOT promising to remove 100% of all the swirls and scratches.  That’s Package 2 or 3.

You Package 1 is using an AIO and doing the normal 8 section passes and whatever comes out comes out.  Thus you don’t need to use a foam cutting pad as you never promised 100% paint correction.  And too often if you use a foam cutting pad – the pad will leave micro-marring.  If you’re ONE STEP product leaves micro-marring and forces you to re-polish the car with a less aggressive pad to remove the micro-marring – your one-step package just became a 2-step package and now you’re losing money.
